Sherwood Avid 700 BCD

The Sherwood Avid 700 BCD is a robust, full-featured jacket-style BC that delivers outstanding comfort, fit, and styling for divers who demand the best. The hydrodynamic jacket-style bladder wraps air completely around you for effortless floating, and when fully inflated, the 3-D air cell combined with the suspension strap system creates a stable, secure fit designed to eliminate squeeze. The neoprene padded neck roll makes the Avid 700 the ideal liveaboard BC, completely eliminating the chafing and irritation that can occur with other BCDs over extended use.

The highly regarded CQR-3 weight integration system offers convenience, stability, and ease of weight insertion, and is widely considered the most secure weight-integrated system available today. The larger handles on the CQR-3 system work superbly with thicker gloves, making it practical in colder waters. Trim weight pockets provide better accessibility and easier trim weight adjustments, while the redesigned webbing allows for smoother shoulder and waist strap adjustments throughout your dive.

Three dump valves are strategically located at the left and right shoulders, with a third on the lower left of the air cell, making air release simple and fast. The right and lower dump/overpressure relief valves feature pull dump handles for quick access, and the third valve is integrated into the top of the Sherwood power inflator, activated by a cable running down the corrugated inflator hose. New exhaust valves provide a contemporary look alongside this functional design.

Six convenient stainless steel D-rings allow you to attach all your essential gear, while zippered utility side pockets provide storage for additional scuba accessories. A removable and adjustable sternum strap, squeeze-style side release buckles on the shoulder torso straps, waist, and sternum all combine for a fully customisable fit. An easy-to-operate oral and power inflator makes buoyancy control straightforward on every dive.
