Unlike purge-valve snorkels, the Scorpia uses a non-purge design, which significantly reduces noise underwater, a critical advantage when stalking fish or diving in quiet conditions. Clearing the snorkel on the surface is straightforward despite the absence of a purge valve. The smooth internal bore not only improves airflow but also minimises bacteria build-up, making the snorkel more hygienic over time. The snorkel is also buoyant, so it floats if it comes free in the water.
