Faber cylinders, manufactured in Italy, are the benchmark for professional and recreational dive tanks. Steel construction offers significant advantages over aluminium: the greater tensile strength of steel allows for thinner cylinder walls and a smaller overall diameter while maintaining the same internal volume, making the tank easier to handle and store. Unlike aluminium cylinders, which become positively buoyant as the gas is consumed and require additional lead weight to compensate, steel cylinders remain negatively buoyant throughout the entire dive. This makes weighting simpler and more consistent, and reduces the total amount of lead you need to carry.

This package combines the 15 litre Faber steel cylinder with a protective rubber boot and the Sherwood Pro Valve. The Pro Valve is a versatile regulator interface that can be quickly converted between yoke (A-clamp) and DIN configurations simply by removing a threaded insert, giving you compatibility with the widest range of regulators whether diving locally or travelling internationally.
