Faber 12 Litre Steel Dive Tank Cylinder complete With Valve and Boot

Faber cylinders, manufactured in Italy, are widely regarded as the benchmark for scuba dive tanks. Steel construction offers significant advantages over aluminium: the greater strength of steel allows for thinner walls and a smaller overall size for the same internal volume, making the tank easier to transport and handle without sacrificing capacity. Unlike aluminium cylinders, which become positively buoyant as they empty and require divers to carry extra lead to compensate, steel cylinders remain negatively buoyant throughout the entire dive. This improves trim, reduces the amount of ballast weight needed, and simplifies your overall kit configuration.

This package combines the Faber 12 litre steel cylinder with a protective rubber boot and the Sherwood Pro Valve. The Pro Valve is a versatile, high-quality first-stage inlet valve that can be easily switched between yoke (A-clamp) and DIN configurations simply by removing a threaded insert, giving you compatibility with a wide range of regulators and fill stations without needing separate valve assemblies.

Please note: this tank will be delivered empty in accordance with New Zealand shipping regulations. It will need to be filled at a dive shop or fill station before use.
