Colton

The Colton is a boot built for the kind of days where you want your feet warm without thinking about it. The upper is cut from cow suede, a material that softens and moulds gently with wear, developing character the more you use it. Underneath, a rubber sole keeps you grounded on wet paths and uneven ground.

Inside, the lining is sheepskin wool, which does the quiet work of regulating warmth. It traps heat when the air is cold and breathes when things warm up, useful through a long NZ autumn or those unexpectedly chilly mornings. The suede will scuff and age, which is part of the point. These boots look better after a season of actual use.
