A fully featured, weight-integrated BCD built for reliability and comfort across every dive. Rugged 1000-denier construction, a custom-fit harness system, and rigorous quality testing make this a standout choice for NZ divers.
The Atlantis Quest Pocket BCD is a fully featured, weight-integrated buoyancy compensator designed for divers who demand performance, durability, and a comfortable fit. Finished in a striking black and blue colourway, it is built from rugged 1000-denier fabric using non-fade solution-dye materials that resist UV degradation and keep the BCD looking newer for longer. The internal air cell is coated with TPU (Thermal Poly Urethane) for enhanced reliability and long-term durability.
The CQR full weight-integrated system distributes lead more effectively across the BCD, removing the need for a traditional weight belt. A fully adjustable shoulder strap and cummerbund system, combined with a sternum strap and integrated padded hard backpack, deliver a stable, customised fit for a wide range of body types. The sternum straps are removable if preferred. Two large self-draining zip pockets and four metal accessory D-rings provide ample storage and attachment points for dive accessories.

At Atlantis, every Quest Pocket BCD goes through a rigorous multi-stage quality assurance process before it leaves the factory. This is not a spot-check, it is a mandatory procedure applied to every single unit.
First Step: The entire air cell is fully inflated and deflated for 25 cycles, followed by a 2-hour stand test whilst fully inflated. Any failure at this stage results in the unit being destroyed.
Second Step: The air cell is again inflated and deflated for 25 cycles, followed by a 4-hour stand test whilst fully inflated. Any failure at this stage also results in the unit being destroyed.
Final Step: The BCD is fully inflated and left to stand for 24 hours. The OPVs (over-pressure valves) are individually pressure-tested at both 2.5 lb and 4.0 lb. Any failure in either the air cell or OPVs at this stage results in the components being destroyed.
Only once every stage has been passed without fault is the BCD packaged and made ready for sale. This commitment to manufacturing standards is what makes the Quest Pocket BCD a dependable choice for a lifetime of diving adventures.
