A Note on Neoprene Quality

Not all neoprene is equal. CR (chloroprene rubber) neoprene, used in this hood, is significantly warmer, more durable, and safer than the cheaper SVR (polyester-based) neoprene found in some budget hoods. SVR neoprene is not only less effective at retaining heat but is also highly flammable, making CR neoprene the clear choice for safety-conscious divers.
