Operating Instructions

1. Power on the tester. The power indicator light will turn on, and the instrument will begin preheating. After a few seconds, it will be ready for use.
2. Place the gemstone to be tested into the support tray, ensuring the flat side (mesa) is facing upwards. For gemstones that are already set, there is no need to use the tray; simply hold the gemstone.
3. Adjust according to the weight of the diamond and the measuring temperature, using the bright LEDs for guidance.
4. Remove the needle sheath, hold the instrument, and ensure your right index finger touches the conductive plate on the back cover. Gently place the probe vertically against the mesa of the gemstone.
5. Carefully observe the instrument: If the light emitted by the diodes reflects yellow and moves across nine diodes with accompanying beeping, the tested gemstone is a real diamond. Conversely, if the light moves across fewer than nine diodes without beeping, the gemstone is likely a fake or a simulant.
